It all started with a better nut tool...

The Neilico Nut Tool is born from experience and the desire to do better! While setting an offset nut with a few good tugs mid-crux, two thoughts ran through my brain:

"This placement is bomber; Adena is going to hate me".

Sure enough, there were some expletives down below and a bloody knuckle. 

The next day I mocked up prototypes of what was to be the Neilico Nut Tool.

Made in the U.S.A.

When it came time source a shop for prototyping and production, I decided on an East Coast contract manufacturer rather than one in China.

Domestic manufacturing is more expensive, but my family ran a factory when I was growing up, and as a result I have strong feelings about skilled labor and supporting local economies.

The Neilico Nut Tool is laser cut from 316 stainless steel and 100% designed and made in the U.S.A.

How about the HEARTS?

Ever since I’d been designing and 3D printing all sorts of doodads for Adena (who is now my wife!), I’d put a heart on it. Who doesn’t love hearts?! That’s where the logo comes from as well as the laser cut heart near the pick.
